Providing spay/neuter clinics

The Perros Santos project, in Todos Santos, Baja California Sur, was launched in July 2023 by a committed group of dog lovers and advocates. Our mission is to help the community by providing free, monthly spay/neuter clinics to curb the over population of unwanted animals who often end up alone and suffering on the streets.

The dogs and cats we treat are brought to the clinics by their owners and we average 70 sterilizations every month. We also have volunteers that identify and bring homeless animals to the clinics and those are returned to their neighborhoods.

With these procedures, dogs and cats lead longer, healthier lives, while the community benefits from fewer strays and more resources for better animal care. The clinics are 100% volunteer-run by members of the expat and local community. Our dedicated vet team provides their services at less than half their in-office fee. Each surgery costs us $40 USD and includes post-op medication. Please help us continue this vital work.
